x^3 - 7x - 6 = 0

dla x=-1

(-1)³-7*(-1)-6=-1+7-6=0

po podzieleniu przez: x+1:

(x³-7x-6):(x+1)=x²-x-6

 

x³-7x-6 = (x+1)(x²-x-6)

 

x²-x-6

Δ=1+24=25

√Δ=5

x₁=(1+5)/2=6/2=3

x₂=(1-5)/2=4/2=2

 

x²-x-6=(x-2)(x-3)

 

czyli

x³-7x-6=(x+1)x-2)(x-3)=0

x+1=0  lub x-2=0  lub x-3=0

x∈{-1, 2, 3}
