1/ Many people think that it is impossible to judge people by their looks. What is impossible is to stop arriving at unconscious, often unfounded conclusions. What we indeed can do is to refrain ourselves from making explicit, verbal judgements of their looks. Even if you don’t like somebody’s appearance, you don’t have to voice our opinion on the spot.

2/  What should be admitted is the fact that it is indeed difficult to change somebody’s opinion on our behavior if we had already been presented from a negative angle. When it comes to the first impression, I think it’s very often formed way before we actually meet a person in question. If we have already heard something, it may strongly inform our perception of that person.

3/ I suppose that change is an inevitable consequence of growing up. There are substantial changes in the way I refer to other people and how I treat them. Of course, the more situations you are subjected to, the more varied your experiences are, and the more factors may influence your life.
