It was a sunny day. Jordan, Robert and Robert's uncle went canoeing on the Grand River. Suddenly, they heard a loud noise. "Help!", shouted a girl holding on a rock. They tried to steer the boat so they could get to the girl, but the water was wild. Robert called the police. They found a place where they could left a boat and ran back to the girl. "We had called the police!" shouted Robert. Suddenly they heard a loud noise coming from above. They looked up and there was a helicopter with a rescue team. A man took out a ladder, climbed down and got the girl.
Next day they saw an article in the newspaper about what happened on the Grand River the day before.

Jordan, Robert and his uncle quickly took the boat and were trying to get to this scarred girl and help her but the water was wild that day. They knew they would need some help so Robert's uncle asked him to call the police. When Robert was making a call they found a safe place to leave their boat and run back to the shore to tell the girl that they called the police and everything will be fine. Few minutes later they heard loud noise above their heads. They saw a helicopter and a man climbing down from it to get the girl. Luckily nothing wrong happened and the girl was safe and sound. The next day people could read the article about this in the newspaper
