24th is one of the happiest and the most important day of the year. It's Christmas Eve. I don't know if there is a person who doesn't like that day. Complaints may be submitted only by those who have to prepare everything for their families.

Christmas is period of time when we-students have a holiday break in our schools. So I slept very long on that day. Unlike me, my mom was doing housworks from the early morning. As soon as she's finished she went to my grandmother to help her with cooking. We always spend this special day with my grandparents. After I woke up I cleaned up my room and then together with my sister went outside to play with snow. About 3 p.m we went to the grandparents and we were waiting for dinner. At 4.30 p.m it wat time of great festing, but before we eat we had to pray. tradition says you should try all 12 dishes, so we did that. The best taste for me had borsch and dried fruit compote. After dinner it was time for presents.

So in my family that's what christmas looks like. Everyone was smiling and happy, because we spent the day among the close family.
