The Internet is very popular nowadays. People all around the world use it every day and some of them couldn't imagine thier lifes without it. I think everyone would agree that The Internet is a great innovation, but is it really as good as it looks like?
We use the Net every day for everything. It helps us at work and at school. It gives us a possibility to find out almost everything. Thanks to the web we can for egzample "visit" places we'd never afford to go to. Of course it lets us meet new people, talk to them, maybe start new relationships. After all the Internet helps us to relax after a long, hard day. So i think this all is a prove that the Net is really important nowadays. Though it's hard to say when actually it became so popular and important. In my opinion it's becoming more and more important every day. I think it wasn't this way at the begining. However now most people have the Internet at home or at least use it frequently.
Although the internet gives us so many posibilities, it was not always present in our lives. Some time ago people couldn't even imagine a thing like that. But I think they also had great lives. They were probably studying harder because the information wasn't so easy to get. They didn't waste so much time. They used it to read, go for some trips, listem to music. They didn't waste time on bad things that happen on the Net and they didn't have problems connected with it.
I think the greatest adventage of the Internet is the easy way to get any information we want without a problem. On the other hand there are lots of bad things like people who pretend to be someone different and in the end they can appear to be dangerous. ANd now the books. They make us use our immagination. They let us move to a completely different world. On the other hand they can only be read and that's their only use which is that they don't give us any other posibilities.
In the end I'd like to say that both- books and the Net have their good and bad sides and that's for us to decide what is better. Of course the internet can be dangerous so we need to be really careful with it. And the books can't hurt us. It's almost obvious to me that whatever I'd say people won't stop surfing on the Net because of so many of its great features and I must say that I agree with them. Nothing else can give us so many posibilitiees.
