What are the most important events in Poland or in your region ? How do you celebrate them ?

In my town every year mayor organises the "Day of (tutaj nazwa miasta)" , It usually lasts the entire weekend. Then we go to the arena, where different vocalists sings their songs. We have a lot of fun. We can eat a lot and dancing during the concert. Furthermore strange people deploy funfair. Persons, who I know gladly come to this event.
