Reasons for "Thank God for America"
The bill of right/ Declaration of independence- The USA was one of the first nations to write up its own declaration of independence. The declaration gave freedom to all 13 original colonies and the soon created bill of right make the USA the free country it is today. From freedom of speech guaranteed by the first amendment to the 5th,6th and 7th amendments which protect us from oppressive courts.
The seconds amendment- Which allows all Americans "to bear arms" protects its citizens. If the government ever decides to enslave us, the people of the US will be ready to fight for their freedom as were their founding fathers. Owning a gun is the American way.
The American dream- The American dream is probably one of the best thing in America. Any immigrant that legally comes to the USA has a chance to start a new life in the US. Through hard dedicated work it is still possible to get rich thought a self started business and have a happy family in the US.
Reasons against "Thank God for America"
Obama- Obama is not something the USA can be proud of. Not only is he a weak president on the international stage but he is pointing this nation in the wrong direction.
The pointless wars the US fights- Too many people have died in the Iraq war. Since after the cold war the US has had too many pointless wars. The Vietnam war was unnecessary. And now the Iran war is again bringing American lives to an end.
Taxes- Taxes in the USA are pretty bad. first of all unlike in europe they are not included on the lable. Second of all the income tax is very high. Third of all an internet tax is in the works. There are just too many takes in the US.
