1. It is true to a certain point, as all animals do communicate. However as fellow human beings, we are able to understand our own languages. How can we be sure that animals have no method of language, when they are able to communicate for survival and to hunt in packs? Just because we do not understand another language, or that of animals', does not mean that language does not exist. The denial of the unknown is prove of ignorance and close-mindedness.
2. To say a language is to say a society. True to a certain point, of course, but it does not mean that the types of language used represent the society. A society consists of a number of people, from various classes. Some can be well-mannered and polite, some can be laid back and casual, some can be rude and down-right insulting. Just because a thug is able to say curse words using the same language a certain society uses, does not mean he is representing that society.
