I'm not an exemplary eco-friendly person, but at the same time, I don't disregard the natural environment. To help protect the environment, I have been recycling my garbage for many years, and what good comes with that is the less amount of money I have to pay to have it taken away. Furthermore, I pay attention to what I burn in my chimney, but still, I'm not overly attentive. I also drive a car that requires really little fuel compared to the other ones. I take concern with pollution and the global warming but I want to live my life without any needless drawbacks.
2. What we should do to protect the environment.
There are many things people can do to protect the environment. One of which is decreasing the consumption. The humanity nowadays constantly demands products of better quality which leads to an increased production in facilities all over the world that emit large quantities of pollution into the natural environment. Aside from the increased need for products, we use lots of things that harm the environment. As an example, we can take the transportation system which consists of cars, lorries, planes, ships and many more. If we reduced the unnecessary amount of vehicles on the roads, we would cut down on pollution dramatically. We could also switch to electric energy in the place of burning fuel. With the advancing technology, plenty things can be changed to electric alternatives.
3. Renewable energy benefits.
Renewable energy is the most environmentally friendly kind of energy. Despite the high costs of renewable energy devices and machines, it is definitely worth its price to protect the natural environment. The machines processing this kind of energy emit no pollution but they affect the landscapes. The wind turbines are the most common renewable energy machinery, placed on vast and empty fields. There are also solar power plants, dams and geothermal power stations. All of those do take up much space but they require little maintenance and attention, therefore solar power plants and wind turbines can theoretically work on their own. They constantly draw energy from limitless and free sources such as the sunlight or wind.
