x² + 3x = 5x + 3
x² + 3x - 5x - 3 = 0
x² - 2x - 3 = 0    Factorizas trinomio de la forma x² + bx + c
(x - 3)(x + 1) = 0  Tiene 2 soluciones reales
x - 3 = 0
x = 3
   o
x + 1 = 0
x = - 1

Comprobacion.

Para x = 3
x(x + 3) = 5x + 3
3(3+ 3) = 5 * 3 + 3
3 * 6     = 15 + 3
   18    =  18

Para x = - 1
-1( - 1 + 3) = 5 * ( -1) + 3
 - 1 (2)       =  - 5 + 3
   - 2          =  -2
