b)4(x+3)-(x-1)(x-7) = 4x + 12 - (x² - 7x - x + 7) = 4x + 12 - x² + 7x + x - 7 = -x² + 12x + 5
c)20-4(2x-8x+1)+3 = 20 - 8x + 32x - 4 + 3 = 19 + 24x
