John Bell worked as a lifeguard on a very popular beach. On his first day there, he felt a little anxious. It was a hot and sunny day and there were a lot of people in the water.

 

He spent a long time looking at the water through his binoculars. Suddenly, he heard people screaming: "Shark! Shark!" John quickly picked up his bullhorn and yelled: "Get out of the water!" Everybody was very afraid and quickly swam to shore. Other lifeguards got into a motorboat and swam toward the shark. People watched with concern.

 

Then people realized that it wasn't a shark but a surfer. The surfer smiled at everybody and said pointing at his surf board: "Don't worry, this one hasn't got teeth."
