Mount Etna is a volcano in a Sicily, Italy. It is higher and most active volcano in Europe. Every year, hundred of people go to Mount Etna to get a close look at it!

One of Mount Etnas' s bigest eruptions was in 1169. In 1928, an eruption from the volcano destroyed two villages. Scincethen there has been many eruptions has caused a huge cloud of smoke. The cloud blocket out the sun and everywhere were dark. Black dust covered Catania, a city close to the volcano.
