Rock - the general name for a whole range of musical styles drawn from rock and roll and rhythm and blues, and blues. The name "rock" is actually short for "rock and roll", but you can recognize these two concepts as different from each other genres. All styles of rock characterized by a sound based on different kinds of guitars (usually electric, electric bass) and drums, with clearly delineated in rhythm and singing, comes from the blues, and how free improvisation when playing tracks, derived from jazz.
