Tom is at his friend Ed's hause. Tom is bored and wants to do something. He suggests going to the cinema, playing computer games (free!),and inviting Joe round to watch a DVD.

Ed is keen to go to the cinema, but hasn't got any money, doesn't want to play computer games (he's played them all !), and is very keen to invite Joe round to watch a DVD (he's got some new ones they can watch).

Tom: I'm bored, Ed. Let's do something.

E: What are you thinking about?
T: How about going to the cinema?
E: It will be great but there's a problem. I'm a bit short of money. Any other ideas?
T: Perhaps we could spend some time playing your computer games?
E: Oh no! I play them every day. It's boring.
F: And what do you think about inviting Joe ? Maybe he can bring some films. I heard he had bought some new ones.
E: Perfect! I'll call him.
