Go, Go, Go!

There are different types of traveller. Some people have never travelled out of their town. Some people are dontent to sunbathe on a beach or maybe walk around a city all day with a map and a camera. A lot of people haven't really thought about alternatives for their holiday destinations, but if you are looking for something different, here are some ideas...

Trips for charities.

Charities now organise some interesting trips. People must promise to give you a donation if you complete one of these trips. Some of this money pays for the trip and some goes to the charity. This year, one charity group has trekked through the Andes, and another group has cycled around Iceland. You can see the world and to something good at the same time.

Adventures.

If you like the idea of adventure, simply search for 'youth' and 'adventure' on the Internet. You can find organisations like Ruta Quetzal, which organises expeditions for teenagers from Europe and America. The route is different every year: young adventuress have travelled down the Orinoko river and they've walked up volcanoes in Mexico.

Experimental travel.

For a more eccentric experience, read The Lonely Planet Guide to Experimental Travel. Reporter Joel Henry has written this imaginative guide for bored travelles. One of his ideas is to hitch-hike across a country wearing strange clothes. If that's too embarrassing for you, why not try this idea- choose a place beginning with the letter A and then choose a place beginning wth the letter Z. Then travel from A-Z. You'll definitely have some interesting experiences between Aberdeen and Zaragoza, especially if you are dressed like Superman.

proszę o przetłumaczenie tego tekstu na polski.Morgan Spurlock was watching a TV programme about fast food when he had an idea. A representative of McDonalds was saying that their food was nutritious and healthy. Morgan disagreed with this, and he decided to do an experiment. He decided to eat in fast food restaurants every day, three times a day, for thirty days.At the beginning of his experiment, Morgan went to three doctors, who checked his weight and his health. Morgan was energetic, healthy and happy. Then be started his fast food diet. At first he didn't feel too unhealthy, but soon he was having headaches and stomach aches.Normally Morgan didn't eat many burgers, but suddenly he was eating them constantly and he felt unwell; he wasn't eating enough fruit and vegetables, and he was eating too much fat. A burger and chips with a large cola gives you enough energy to walk seven miles, but Morgan didn't do any exercise. After twenty-one days, Morgan's doctors were very worried because there was too much fat and sugar in the fast food diet. In their opinion, the experiment was dangerous and irresponsible, but Morgan continued. At the end of the thirty-day experiment he felt unhealthy, tired and overweight, and he was eleven kilos heavier. While Morgan was on fast food diet, he made a documentary about his experience, called Supersize Me. When the film became popular, some fast food restaurant changed their menus. They say that their food is healthier now, but Morgan prefers to eat at home.
