When Layla Heyer clebrated her fifteenth birthday four weeks ago, she didn't want clothes, jewellery or make-up. Layla wanted a new nose, and her parents paid for the operation. `It's my body, so I can change it if I want. Now I really feel a lot happier.`

Doctor Hal West was Layla's plastic surgeon. `In the past my patientswere older,` he says. `But now I see about twenty teenagers every week. They want to be more attractive, and that's OK. But we can't solve everybody's problem with an operation. One mother wanted surgery for her eleven-year-old daughter, who was overweight and `not popular enough` at school. In my opinion, that's irresponsible.

Plastic surgery can be dangerous and painful but it is common in the USA and Brazil, and it's also becoming more popular in the UK. A British magazine recently asked girls, aged thirteen to fifteen, for their opinions. Forty percent wanted plastic surgery. Only eight percent were happy with their bodies. But why?

Maybe there are too many images of `perfect people` in magazines and on television. People see these images and feel ungly. Doctos West confirms that people often bring pictures to his clinic: `Boys sometimes bring pictures of Brad Pitt`, he says. 'The girls want Jennifer Aniston's nose or Jennifer Lopez's curves.` But will these people be different after their operations? You don't need a perfect body to be beautiful or happy.

proszę o przetłumaczenie tego tekstu na polski.Morgan Spurlock was watching a TV programme about fast food when he had an idea. A representative of McDonalds was saying that their food was nutritious and healthy. Morgan disagreed with this, and he decided to do an experiment. He decided to eat in fast food restaurants every day, three times a day, for thirty days.At the beginning of his experiment, Morgan went to three doctors, who checked his weight and his health. Morgan was energetic, healthy and happy. Then be started his fast food diet. At first he didn't feel too unhealthy, but soon he was having headaches and stomach aches.Normally Morgan didn't eat many burgers, but suddenly he was eating them constantly and he felt unwell; he wasn't eating enough fruit and vegetables, and he was eating too much fat. A burger and chips with a large cola gives you enough energy to walk seven miles, but Morgan didn't do any exercise. After twenty-one days, Morgan's doctors were very worried because there was too much fat and sugar in the fast food diet. In their opinion, the experiment was dangerous and irresponsible, but Morgan continued. At the end of the thirty-day experiment he felt unhealthy, tired and overweight, and he was eleven kilos heavier. While Morgan was on fast food diet, he made a documentary about his experience, called Supersize Me. When the film became popular, some fast food restaurant changed their menus. They say that their food is healthier now, but Morgan prefers to eat at home.
