1. The castle in Baranow Sandomierski is a world class monument attracting for many years tourists, amateurs of attractive leisure, as well as businessmen looking for an interesting places to organize trainings, conferences and meetings.

 

2. The castle was erected at the end of the sixteenth century at the place of the medieval knight's defensive manor. In the fifteenth century the Baranow manor belong to the noble Baranowsky family. At the turn of the fifteenth and sixteenth century Baranow was bought by the Gorka family from Wielkopolska.

 

3. In 1569 Stanislaw Gorka sold the Baranow estate to Rafal Leszczynski. The castle's last owner from the Leszczyński family was Rafał X who's son was the king of Poland. The castle in Baranow Sandomierski was consequently owned by the Wisniowiecki, Lubomirski, Sanguszka, Malachowski, Potocki, Krasicki and Dolanski families.
