Johnny Depp

John Christopher Depp was born on 9 June 1963 in Kentucky, in the USA. He grew up in Florida. His mother bought him a guitar when he was twelve and his ambition was to be a rock musician. He left school when he was seventeen and became a musician in different bands. Later he became an actor. In 1984 he got a small part in "A Nightmare on Elm Street" In 1990, the director Tim Burton gave him the role of Edward Scissorhands. After that, he was in lots of films, including "Pirates of the Caribbean: the Curse of the Black Pearl. "Finding Neverland" and "Sweety Todd". He was nominated for an Oscar for his roles in these films, but he didn't win. After he finished filming "The Curse of The Black Pearl", Depp decided to keep his beard and moustache and he grew up his hair long. He is also got 13 tattoos, just like a pirate! He often wears glasses. Johny Depp's first famous girlfriend was the actress Sherilyn Fenn. He also dated Winona Ryder, who was his co- star in  "Edward Scissorhand", and had three-year relationship withe the model Kate Moss. In 1998, Johnny met the French pop singer Vanessa Paradis. They had a daughter, Lily-Rose Melody, in 1999 and a son, Jack, in 2002. They are still together.
