change a light bulb - wymienić żarówkę,
clear the dishes - pozmywać naczynia,
do the cooking - gotować
do the shopping - robić zakupy
do the washing up - zmywać,
hang up pictures - wieszać obrazki
hang up your clothes - wieszać ubrania,
iron your clothes - prasować ubrania,
make your bed - ścielić łóżko,
mop floor - zmywać podłogę (mopem),
set the table - nakrywać do stołu,
sweep the floor - zamiatać podłogę,
take out the rubish - wynosić śmieci,
wash dishes - zmywać naczynia.
wash floor - myć podłogę
wash clothes - prać ubrania.
1) I normaly change light bulbs.
I normaly do the shopping.
I normaly do the washing up (by placeing them in dishwasher)
I normaly hang up pictures and my clothes too.
I make my bed.
I take out the rubbish...
2. Assigning any of this chores to a gender, would lead to new breakout of flamewar between proponents of traditional family model and activists of women rights movment. Therefore I decline to do this exercise.
3. It is easier for boy to get permission. In worst cast he can get into a fight and have some teeth knocked out. In case of girl, the worst case is a pregnancy and a baby whose father is unknown.
It is not about being fair, it is just how the world works.
