  Actor Keanu Reeves was born in Beirut, Lebanon to an English mother and Chinese-Hawaiian father. As a teenager he lived in Canada , where he attended Toronto High School and then studied with a famed group. His first paid appearance was on a Canadian TV. In 1987 he got his first significant film role in "The River's Edge". 

  Reeves rocketed to stardom in 1989 as a teenager in the comedy "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure". At that time he also acted in "Dangeorus Liaisons" abd "Much Ado About Nothing". In the 1990s Keanu Reeves became an action star in "Speed" and then a Buddhist mystic in "Little Buddha". Nowadays he is famous for his role in "The Devil's Advocate" and then in three parts of "Matrix", where he played a futurist messiah.

  When I think of my favourite actor, the person that comes to my mind is Keanu Reeves. I like him so much, not only because he is a talented actor, but also I admire his personality (Keanu takes care of his sister, who is a very ill person).
