Film is directed by Tom Tykwer. "perfume" takes place in 18 th century a Paris and italy.
Main character is Jean-Baptiste Grenouille (Ben Whishaw), who has an extraordinary talent smell. Grenouille can detect and distinguish smells for miles, because of his through fierce cunning and rodent survival instinct. He wanted to create the perfect scent of a woman's body that will make him fully human - alchemy for which he will need 13 beautiful female corpses so he becomes a mass murderer. Naturally He remain convicted and put to death for his Crimes, but how he dies i will not say.
So if you like psychological horror story, you must watch Perfume : The Story of a Murderer, because it isn't typical fim about typical killer of our time, no, it's a history about a ambitious man with a desire for excellence.
