Summer 2013!1 month. 20 days. 10 days. 1 week. We all are counting down the days until summer finally arrives. This is my last week of school and I am so excited to have a lot more free time and just relax. My friends and I are already planning extravagant trips and parties for the summer and all of us are exceedingly excited.The week after school gets out, I am going to spend a week in my aunt’s penthouse downtown. I visited her new apartment for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely gorgeous! I am so excited to stay with her and to live in the hustle of the city for a week. My best friend is also going to come to stay with me the majority of that week and I know we are going to do a lot of fun things. We are also planning a pool party in my aunt’s building and it will be a great opportunity to relax and have fun with all of my friends. My sister also lives downtown, but instead of in a luxurious penthouse, she lives on a boat. She has also invited my friend and I to spend a week with her and have a smaller party on her boat.I have also started to make a schedule for what I want to do for the summer. I want to start a workout plan and try to stay healthy during the summer. My friend and I wanted to start playing on a flag football team and we hope to start that during the summer as well. We even talked about taking a couple week dance class for fun since nether of us are good dancers at all. I am also taking online classes and doing independent studies so that I can be fully prepared for my eighth grade year and even high school.Most of all what I am looking forward to is a break from waking up at the crack of dawn every morning. I am excited to have some down time and just relax with my friends. From staying downtown to just relaxing in bed, I know that this summer is going to be one of the best ones yet! Teenagers are really busy sometimes. It's hard to believe but, in our country, it's almost impossible to find enough time to spend it with family or friends. When we are able to spend find enough time, we usually have fun - we walk or watch TV together. Polish teenagers spend a lot of free time with friends all well - having a lot of fun! We usually do crazy things, but we can learn together, because it's more effective. At school, polish teenagers are usually diligent and busy because of tests and exams.
We always want to have good marks. Our teachers are usually fair. Our free time we spend with family and friends, as was said before. We really want to have more free time to develop our passions and interests.
