Computers made work easier and faster, and let people to have more free time, which could be used to spend it with family or friends. In a meanwhile an entertainment became more common. The funfairs became more common as well. So people had more places, where could rest and have fun. Their social life developed as well. In funfairs, or other public places they could meet other people.
