→ Naszym zadaniem jest ustalenie która czynność (lub stan) w przeszłości miała miejsce jako pierwsza, tą właśnie czynność zapisujemy w zdaniu za pomocą czasu 'past perfect' (czas zaprzeszły), późniejsza czynność (lub stan), która po niej następuje wyrażana jest w czasie 'past simple'.
