To my mind first of all it how people wear depend on occasion. And their style has big importance. Every day people can wear casual clothes for example T-shirt and jeans and they look normal.But on important occasion like wedings women have to wear elegant dresses and men  suits. If they didn't wear elegant clothes they would be ridiculed. And they would feel very strange among elegant people. 

If terms of name brands I think that today society has much pressure on people particulary on young people. For young people the most important is  label. If someone hasn't expensive,trend, name brand it must be worse for other people. In my opinion is very bad because are people which have't money and theyn are discriminaed by it.

There is a proverb (przyslowie) which says that "clothes make the man" or another one which is similar "fine feathers make fine bearths" so it must be the trouth that people are lookint first at our clothes than at our intelligence.So maybe it is not the most important think in the life but it is important part of our daily life.

But at the end hardly everyone wants to be beautifull or feel in a special way. For example in such occasions as wedding or birthday or job interview people are wearing fashionable clothes. As for me i like to be well dressed but it is not so importand to be always very fashionable. But also i do not wear clothes which are out of fasion

 

2. There is a queit big pressure to wear name brands because famous people are wearing fashionable, expensive clothes. I do not like to wear expensive, brand clothes only because everyone can see that I can affort to buy it.  I have to like it and feel comfortable. I also like to enjoy the moment in the mirrow when I finish with my stilisation - and i look in to the mirrow and I see that I am a really beautiful person. As a metter of fact I expect my friends to like and to love me for my personality and not for the sign of the t-shirt I wear.
