I wish you didn’t smoke at night.

 

You' re planning a school trip, but it's raining. You say:

I wish it wasn’t raining.

 

Your friend smokes. You hate cigarettes. You say:

I wish you quit smoking.

 

You can't drive. I'd like to know how to drive.

I wish I knew how to drive.

Nie do końca rozumiem co należało by tu zrobić – dopisałem więc poprawne gramatycznie przykładowe końcówki zdań. Zdania 5,6 i 7 to nie jest drugi tryb warunkowy.

 

 

1. If I lived with a flat mate I’d pay less for the rent.

Gdybym mieszkał z współlokatorem, płacił bym mniej za czynsz.

 

2. If I got lost in a big city I’d ask a policeman for help.

Gdybym się zgubił w wielkim mieście poprosił bym o pomoc policjanta.

 

3. If I found a wallet with 1000 pound I’d face a moral dilemma.

Gdybym znalazł portfel z 1000 funtów stanąłbym przed dylematem moralnym.

 

4. If I didn't speak any English I’d have problems abroad.

Gdybym nie mówił w ogóle po angielsku, miałbym problem za granicą.

 

5. When we go on the class trip I’d like it to be a trip to Warsaw.

Kiedy pojedziemy na wycieczkę klasową, chciałbym aby to była wycieczka do Warszawy.

 

6. If I have more time tomorrow I’ll do the housework.

Jeśli będę miał jutro więcej czasu ogarnę mieszkanie.

 

7. If the weather is good at the weekend we’ll go camping.

Jeśli pogoda w weekend będzie OK, pojedziemy na kamping.
