1. arrived, was sitting

2. didn't know, was waiting

4. were shining, was kissing

 

Zadanie 8.

1. In the first picture, there's a night. The man was driving a car, when he noticed something, he realised that he couldn't stop the car and he had a crush.

2. In the second picture, there are two men. One of them is sitting on the chair when the second one put out the cigarette on his cheek.

 

Zadanie 9.

1. Although I like films, I don't go to the cinema very often. +

2. Although a large plasma was very expensive, my parents bought it.

3. Although I don't buy many DVDs, I watch a lot of them. +

4. Although I see a lot of films, I haven't seen a good one recently.

5. Although there are lots of film stars I like, I can never remember their names. +
