Everyone likes travelling and visiting his friends. Even if we are very enjoyed by our friends in their home we are homesick and we would like to return home and rest in our own bed, because we are used to that. Nowadays, when people are so busy they are exausted by working etc they dream abour returning home or eating dinner with family. This proverb means also that we are homesick beacause we know that in our house our relatives are waiting for us. But despite these arguments, we simply think we are safe in our home and many people are so used to their own sofa that they prefer watching TV on it to  going out with their friends and have some fun. It all mean that people need go out sometimes but even the most comfortable place cannot replace them their own home, the one they built or bought themselves after many years working.
