This is Joe Herdenson's world.Joe is British,he's twenty-eight years old,and
he lives in a submarine.Here is his description of live in a submarine.
'Submarines are small,so we live in a very small space.We live there for a long time-submarinesstay in the water for sixty to seventy days. I don't see my
wife or children for long periods.It's difficult.Of course,day and night don't exist in a submarine- for us it's permanent night,with no light from the sun.In
fact,a day in a submarine has got eighteen hours.We work for six hours and then we,ve got 12 hours for everything else-study,relaxation,sleeping and eating. Then we work for six hours again.Life is very repetitive in a submarine! We don't eat very good food in the submarine.Our food comes from packets'.
