PEOPLE COMMUNICATE LESS WITH OTHERS BECAUSE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES. DO YOU AGREE? WHY/WHY NOT? GIVE EXAMPLES
Yes, I do totally agree with the statement that people communicate less with others because of new technologies. People prefer to send short txts instead of saying something in person. Another example may be the increasing use of e-mails. Nowadays, people prefer to write a short message via the internet rather than visting someone. What's more, now a lot of teenagers use instant messangers just like gadu-gadu or msn. We can talk online with a person who is miles away. I think it is great if we have friends in another city or even country, we can easily communicate with them but on the other hand, I don't see a point if we talk via the Internet with someone who lives in a house nearby. I think that talking with someone in person is undoubtedly better as we can see their emotions, see how they really feel like. However, I think that we cannot avoid the decline of communication, we just have to choose whether we prefer to talk with someone drinking coffe and feeling their emotions or just stare at the computer's screen.
