In Poland the most common types of energy are coal and oil. My parents use oil and gasoline in their cars. And the heat and electricity in our apartment probably come from coal. Neither coal nor oil is renewable. We are running out of both of them. Renewable energy sources are wind, water and solar, but Poland uses very little renewable energy. One advantage of non-renewable energy (coal and oil) is that we already have the infrastructure for it. We can use it easily. One advantage of renewable energy (wind, water, and solar) is that it does not pollute the environment. One disadvantage of non-renewable energy is that it pollutes the environment. One disadvantage of renewable energy, such as wind, is that wind farms have to be built.
