What occasions do people get invited to? what is the best way to invite someone: by a text message, a telephone call, an email, a social networking site entry or a formal invitation sent by post? why do you think so?

People are invited to birthday parties, fancy-dress parties, weddings etc. I think the best way to invite someone is by traditionally formal invitation sent by post. Why? Because when you recive those type of postcard you feel kinda special. You don't always get mails, but everyday somebody is calling to you, sending you text messages, e-mails. When you get postcard you think "It's something important".
