Museum of Madame Tussands is placed near the Baker Street’s metro station. It’s one of the most popular touristic attractions offered by London. Madame Marie Tussand came for the first time to the capital of Great Britain in 1802, and she took with her sculptured heads of the executed French aristocrats. For a few years she had been traveling through the country with her collection because in 1835 she wanted to open her first constant exhibition near the Baker Street. For years after the death of Tussands her collection had been expanded – today It consists of figures of historical characters, politics and countless likenesses of the present-day movie, music or sport stars. Among the hundreds of figures we may find inter alia: Shakespeare, Dalai Lama, Sean Connery, The Beatles, Darwin, Queen mother, Kylie Minogue and the poles – Pope John Paul II and Lech Walesa. Wax figures attract crowds of tourists from all over the world who wants to make a commemorative photograph with global personalities.

The exhibition of this beautiful wax figures is divided into a few parts, where the visitors may admire famous, but also those infamous characters from the past but also from the present. Among the hundreds of figures we may see:

Maddame (Marie) Tussaud arrived the first time to capital of Great Britain in 1802, bringing carved heads of killed French aristocrats. For few years she moved about from place to place all over the country to open in 1835 her first permament exhibition near Baker Street. After Tussaud's death collection was expanded for years- today it includes statues of historical figures, politicans and countless images of today's movie, music and sport stars.

Among hundreds of figures we can find: Shakespeare, Dalai Lama, Sean Connery, The Beatles, Darwin, The Queen Mother, Kylie Minoque, and from Polen- John Paul the Second and Lech Wałęsa. Wax models drawn in crowds of tourists all over the world who want to take a memorial photo with world's celebrities.
