Hi, I'm Abby. I'm in class 7WD and we're on safari today! No, not in Africa, unfortunately! We're here at Longleat Safari Park for a school visit. There's a campsite here and we're camping next to the lions and wolves! It's very exciting.
But first we're visiting the park. We're all in a minibus, and we can drive slowly through all the animal enclosures. We can see how they live and what they do.
The first place to go in the park is the East African enclosure. We're here now and we're out of the minibus. We're standing on the observation platform. From here, we can see giraffes, zebras, llamas and camels. In fact, there's a baby giraffe and it's so cute!
The next place on our safari is the monkey enclosure.
Our teacher says that we must keep the windows of the minibus closed, because the monkeys are very naughty and take everything!
After that, there are the tiger and lion enclosures. I really want to see them. I love lions and tigers, but they're quite dangerous. You can't stop and you can't open any windows!
The final enclosure is the wolf enclosure. You sometimes can't see the wolves - they're quite shy!
