Use the verbs and particles in the boxes to complete the sentences below. The number of words you need is shown by the number of spaces. You'll need to use all of them and sometimes to change the verb to the correct form or tense. All of the phrasal verbs here have appeared in this course - including the grammar presentation.
keep bump turn bring take x 2
get look pick sneak
on into with x 2 after x 2 off x 2 up x 4
Note: As there are thousands of phrasal verbs in English, further practice on the Internet would be difficult. The best thing to do is learn the phrasal verbs we've used here and as you come across more when you read or learn English, write them down and try to learn them too.
Don't try and learn too many at one time and BEWARE - many have more than one meaning ('pick up' has about 15 meanings!) so stick with the meanings you see. At this level of English a phrasal verb dictionary would not be useful - a normal dictionary is fine.
