Carilah himpunan selesaian dari persamaan kuadrat berikut.
a. x2 – 5x + 6 = 0
b. x2 + 2x – 15 = 0
c. x2 + 4x – 12 = 0

3x² = 2x - 4
3x² - 2x +4 = 0

a. x² - 5x + 6 = 0
(x - 2)(x - 3) = 0
x - 2 = 0 atau x - 3 = 0
x = 2 atau x = 3  ==> HP = {2,3}

b. x² + 2x - 15 = 0
(x - 3)(x + 5) = 0
x - 3 = 0 atau x + 5 = 0
x = 3 atau x = -5 ===> HP = {3,-5}

c. x² + 4x - 12 = 0
(x - 2)(x + 6) = 0
x - 2 = 0 atau x + 6 = 0
x  = 2 atau x = -6 ===> HP = {2,-6}
