Seems like it was yesterday when I and Alice laughed and played together. She is my best friend. We met each other when we were in the first grade of junior high school. She was a kind person actually. We did not need a long time to make a good friendship. It worked till we were studying in the same senior high school. Both of us got closer and closer.
Exactly on the middle of December, I saw a change on her. She said that she felt unwell. Her face looked pale. Suddenly, some of bloods were flown from her nose. She was insensible. I was panic and decided to tell my teacher about it. My teacher picked her to the hospital soon.
After the school was end, I came to see her in the hospital. She was lying down on the bed. On the left side of her, there were her parents. They were sad at all. I asked her father about her condition. He said that Alice was got a leukaemia. She had to stay in the hospital for taking a medicine. I did not believe it and I could not hold my tears anymore.
December almost ended. She still took her medicine. She said that it was a very painful medicine. Finally, she gave up. She could not fight leukaemia anymore. I cried and I wonder if it was just a nightmare. But God had more beautiful place for her. Her wonderful eyes were closed on 31st December. That day the sun lost its light and I lost my best friend forever. It’s true she will never come back, but she always gets a special place in my heart.
