2x^2 - 8 = 0

Y1 = x^2 - 2x -3
     = -2^2 - 2.(-2) - 3
     = 4 + 4 - 3
     = 5

     = -2^2 - 2.2 + 5
     = 4 - 4 + 5
     = 5
