Co do trzeciego przykładu nie jestem pewna, czy trafnie zgadłam, o jaki czasownik chodzi, jednak gramatycznie jest poprawny.

SINCE używamy, gdy mówimy o konkretnym momencie, np. od poniedziałku, od 1930r. etc.

FOR używamy, gdy mówimy o pewnym odcinku czasu, np. od 4 dni, przez 3 lata etc.
