As we were going past an old house we heard someone saying, “Come in. Come in here now.” We stopped and looked around to see who was talking to us, but there was no one there. We took a few more steps and then the voice spoke again, “Come in the house now, boys!” We decided to go into the old house and check it out. When we got inside, we saw a
strange beast. It was huge and had sharp claws and it was ready to jump on us.
Then suddenly, it disappeared.
We ran out of the house and we didn’t stop running until we were home.
We didn’t know what that strange creature was, but we felt glad that we
were now safe and far away from it!
