2x = 16
x = 16/2

7x -(4+2x)=1+(x-2)
7x-4-2x = 1+x-2
5x-4 = x-1
5x-x = 4-1
4x = 3
x = 3/4
2(3x-1)-5x = 5-(3x+11)
6x-2 - 5x = 5 - 3x-11
x - 2 = -6 - 3x
