I think these people are happy because they had just received a high school certificate. They completed their education and now can go for a perfect field of study or finnd a dream job.

In Poland,students gather on elegant celebration. Director and eager guests make speeches.They summerize  the past year, hand out awards, honors and congratulations for results. Students receive a certificate.

During the celebration at my school were awarded 47 certificates with honors.The Director made a speech, also said that the end of the school year is an opportunity to thank all students who have achieved academic success and proudly represented the school in competitions and contests. In conclusion, he wished the students and teachers deserved rest.
