This story is about Google which was the brainchild of Larry Page and Sergey Brin. They had arguments, but then they reached an agreement. They wanted a commitment to making the Internet more user-friendly. At that time, Internet search were slow and complicated, which frustrated a lot of people, and of course Larry and Sergey. The idea quickly came to them and wanted to create search results according to a website's popularity. They calculated how important a particular web page was. This met with fair amount of criticism. They didn’t give up and find investors who financially supported their idea. Then they looked for a catchy name. Inspired their mathematical word ‘gogol’, which became 'google'. People really liked Google's simple, neat design and, of course, it's speedy performance! At the end they moved their activities to the headquarters, which is called the Googleplex. Currently, Google is the most popular search engine and is responsible for one million queries per day, and its success show no signs of fading.
