is homework necessary for us ? stating the issue : almost everyday we get homework from our teachers. in every subject,there are passages to do a home. sometimes they are easy and few in number. nevertheless, teachers often give difficult and many tasks for students. the question is whether or not homework is necessary. supporting point : many people believe that we need homework beside our lesson at school. the lessons at school are considered not enough for our knowledge. students have to study at home and do homework as exercises. teachers hope that students can practice their knowledge by answering the questions. homework is a god way for teachers to evaluate the students' achievement in learning. for students, homework is one of the ways to get a good mark. they can do and finish the task as best as they can because there is much time at home. contrastive point : in contrast, some people say that homework is a burden for students. students usually get hard lessons at school. after school, they must still do difficult homework. it will make heavy pressure for their life. they should have enough time to rest and refresh their mind. homework is said to be ineffective. a student may cheat his or her friend in order to get a good mark easily. recommendation : at present, homework is still an essential part for learning activity. we need homework to practice what we have got at school. a long as it is not too much ; homework is good in helping our learning. thus, we must treat homework not only as ways to get good mark but also as exercise. in conclusion, homework is necessary for students.
