Yes, it was - the temperature in our room was -5°C. We wore lots of very warm clothes and we slept in big thick sleeping bags. In the morning, we learnt how to make sculptures from ice. Every year in December, builders make a new ice hotel because when the weather gets warmer in spring, the hotel melts. It was a long journey to get here: our train left Stockholm on Monday night and 12 hours later we arrived in Kiruna. From there, we got in a taxi and we finally arrived at the ice hotel yesterday afternoon! Maybe that's why we slept so well last night! Eric 32
