100 years ago life all around the world and of course in Poland as well was completely different from our life nowadays.

First, let's think of the development of transport. 100 years ago a car was a luxury and only very few people could afford it and nowadays many of us can't imagine life without their own car.However a hundred years ago there were trams in more cities then now. So basically travelling, even on short distances wasn't easy.

The other thing is that everyone had to work harder than today and many people were poor even though they were working as hard as they could. There was also nothing like organisations fighting for workers' rights. People didn't get as much money for their work and they were strongly divided into groups of those who always erned more and those really poor ones.

Certainly they couldn't get even half as much entertainment as we do today. They didn't have all those restaurants, pubs, discos, shopping malls and everything that is just normal for us. So they didn't have opportunities to have fun the way we do and of course they didn't actually have time for entertaining themselves because they had to work a lot.

We all know that the education was a bit different too. Poor people, mainly villagers often couldn't afford educating their children and the main reason of that would be that better schools or higher grades were usually available far away from the country.

Politics connected  matters were also difficult to understand, not to mention changing anything in the system. That was a really tough time for Poland and people had more important and sometimes life-threatening problems connected with politics which could be for instance lack of ability to have influence on some situations.

Food and drink of that time can be considered as bad because more people were hungry and there weren't good organisations to help them. But on the other hand they didn't know fast food so they ate healthy food which means that they didn't have to face some serious deseases and the problem of obesity wasn't that common.

In conclusion we need to say that life 100 years ago was definetly harder and not particularly entertaining but as we see people lived through those times and were then probably healthier than us.
