Chuck Noland is a logistics working for FedEx, whose personal and professional lives are entirely subordinated to the rules of the time. Occupation forces him to constantly travel to the farthest corners of the world and even breakups with his fiancee Kelly played by Helen Hunt. Speeding at a furious pace Chuck's life changes dramatically when the plane, which flew breaks, and he lands on a remote, uninhabited island. Deprived of basic necessities of life must fight to survive and face the emotional.

 

Chuck Noland jest osoba pracującą dla FedEx, a jego życie ściśle jest podporządkowane czasu. Przez swoją pracę musi ciągle wyjeżdżać do dalekich zakątków świata i rozstawać się ze swoją dziewczyną (Kelly, którą gra Helen Hunt). Lecąc na kolejne zlecenie rozbija się samolotem i trafia na bezludną wyspę. Tam musi stawić czoło wielu trudnością związanym m.in z braku cywilizacji.
