Cracow is a scientific and cultural centre. There are many historical and cultural monuments there. The oldest university of Poland - the Jagiellonian University - is also there. Cracow has the largest and most valuable complex of historical building, mainly Gothic. It was the capital of Poland some centuries ago.
In the middle of the Market Place there is the Cloth Hall - Gothic teade stalls rebuilt in the Renaissance style in the XIV century.
The complex of the Wawel Royal Castle and the Cathhedral is a monument of the history and culture of Poland .
Is the really a wonderful place.
