Rome is great! I love the Italian food and people. I'm living in a small apartment, quite close to the Colloseum, nothing special but I'm out all the time anyways. I've visited many things together with my cousin, Stefano, who lives in Rome. He told me everything about the Italian culture and history. The first thing I wanted to see was the Trevi Fountain. It was even more beautiful than I had imagined it. I threw a coin into the water and made a wish, I hope it comes true! The next thing we went to was the Pantheon. It's a beautiful building with an amazing interior. After some time we got hungry so Stefano took me to the best restaurant in town. The food there was unbelievably good. We ordered the specialities of the area: pizza, spaghetti and gnocchis. I cannot decide what was the best. After our delicious meal we visited the one and only Colloseum. It's the biggest thing I've seen! My cousin told me that there were many fights going on in this place, gladiators killed each other for fame. People came here and watched the fights, it was the biggest attraction around here. It's really horrible if you think about it!
I'm hoping to hear from you in some time, how about I'll call you on Friday afternoon after I visit the Vatican City. Stefano said that we will see the pope while were going to be there!
How is my apartment? Is everything all right? I hope that my dog isn't very annoying. I hope to hear everything when I'll call you.
